Budget billing is a payment plan that evens out utility costs by averaging your bills over a year, providing consistent monthly payments. This helps avoid seasonal spikes and makes budgeting easier.

Your account must be paid in full before going on the program.
Please be sure to pay your budget amount each month by the due date or you will be subject to removal from the program.
The account will be brought to a zero balance with the June billing statement each year. At this time, the account balance is required in full by the due date or if a credit, the credit amount will be forwarded to your next billing statement.
Black Hills Electric Cooperative will monitor your individual account and your monthly balance is subject to change upon our discretion.
